Accelerated Slipstream
The descending propeller blade takes a bigger bite, so the fastest part of each slipstream — and the extra lift it makes on the wing behind it — is displaced toward that blade. With both props turning clockwise the fast patch lands outboard on the right wing and inboard on the left. Fail an engine and the surviving one rolls you toward the dead side; the right engine does it with the longer arm.
